Providing our expertise for the Pahang Selangor Water Transfer Project to achieve its aim of meeting the increased demand of water in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur

JetCan provided their expertise for tunnel support in the Pahang Selangor Water Transfer Project completed in 2015.

This project aims to help Selangor and Kuala Lumpur meet the ever increasing water demand alongside the substantial economic development of the country’s political, commercial and industrial hub. This project helped meet the high demand of water resources with futureproofing with consideration for future developments.

With the transfer tunnel being 44.6km in length (including the inlet connecting basin, inlet conduit and outlet conduit) and a diameter of up to 5.2m, this project helps transfer raw water from Pahang to the Selangor/Kuala Lumpur region for domestic and industrial uses. This tunnel is the longest tunnel in SEA.
